Spacio – A Year in Review 2023
A fresh new look for Spacio
Our team have been busy this year designing and building some exciting new workplace projects for our clients but also giving our brand its own spectacular fit out. Therefore, we felt it was also time we created a new space to showcase our best work….
Featuring all of our recent projects across workspace design and build as well as more about the people behind the spaces and lots of incredibly useful resources. We curated a top to bottom refresh of every asset and brand element. Including new colour schemes, Logo, Website, Fonts and much more!
Starting with a new website courtesy of 6 Red Squares. We approached them with a concept and idea for a dynamic website to reflect our brand that focuses on movement in space and doing things differently. The website also casts a spotlight on our exceptional clients and the spaces that they are now in to do their best work.
Over the past few months, we have been working on each one of these changes. Rolling things out and we couldn’t be happier with how our brand now looks. Look around the rest of the website and see if you can spot all our new colours, images, and branding!
Welcoming New Faces
2023 was also a year of new starts for some of our valued team members.
In no particular order…
We were joined by Maria Enea, a Fierce Financial professional. On the front line of our bookkeeping, invoicing and all things in between. Armed with a Level 4 in AAT Professional Accounting and years of professional experience, Maria has proven to be an excellent asset to the team.
A brand-new Marketing Maestro, Alex Gant. Bringing a new creative approach to Spacio, our outreach and advertising. With a Background in film production and graphic design. You can be sure to see some of Alex’s best work on our social media and website.
Jeremy Jackson, Business Development expert. Joining over the summer to build relationships with the most important people to Spacio, You, Our Clients. Jeremy is a friendly face (and voice) with the knowledge and expertise required to talk you through A to Z of your journey with Spacio.
Curtis Dalton Our newest Member of the team joined us at the end of November. Curtis has been bought in as an absolute all-rounder. Working as a site operative helping to ensure that everything runs smoothly and acting as the first point of contact for clients. To give them a smooth experience when working with us.
Unveiling New Spaces
We have designed and created to some stunning offices this year. It would be hard to name every single one, but we polled our team and picked out 3 projects we have created that we all feel very proud of.
Assosia
Leading retail research and quality assurance specialist Assosia moved to a new office to house their ever-growing team. A huge blank canvas provided a fresh opportunity to bring the future of the company to life whilst delivering the wow factor.
The initial brief from Assosia was to create a new, comfortable and functional space that would help their growing team thrive.
The approach to the project was all based around movement and view lines, ensuring that the large space works functionally for the teams but also does not feel too expansive.
Evident
Evident was a wholly owned subsidiary of Olympus, having recently transferring to Bain Capital in 2022. Evident specialises in creating advanced life science and industrial solutions, these include but are not limited to, microscopes, Cameras and Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors.
With the recent change in ownership, Evident decided to relocate and design an office to reflect their new brand. The space has been designed to ensure staff can work in comfort and clients can experience the products in the showroom. Creating a new office for a new brand allows for exciting spaces to be built.
Evident is now working from a sustainable, customisable, and stunning office that promotes diligence and office culture and supports all needs of the employees there.
Birketts
With a rich heritage spanning more than 160 years and having recently unveiled its new brand identity – Birketts appointed Spacio to help fulfil its vision of creating a professional, modern and cheerful workplace in line with its next level services and agile working practices.
When Spacio were invited to pitch for the design of the prestigious Brierly Place office, the focus was on creating a workplace that kept wellbeing at the forefront. Careful attention was given to the planning of the office to create an open plan design with neighborhoods for teams.
The 15,000 sq ft listed building in Chelmsford offered a unique space to work with. However, while the potential could be seen it had become outdated and was in serious need of a new look that the Birketts team could thrive in.
